AACR opinion

The opinion of the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority

AACR opinion represents a technical documentation drawn up by a certified ANCPI survey engineer in Global Geodetic System WGS-84 and Black sea 1975 reference systems. This type of documentation is drawn up for an objective located in an area with civil aeronautical easements or in another area that may constitute an obstacle for air navigation or may affect the safety of flight on the territory and in the airspace of Romania.
The opinion of the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority is requested through the urbanism certificate and is necessary for the elaboration of urban plans such as P.U.D., P.U.Z., P.U.G., D.T.A.C. etc. and confirms that the proposed project does not affect the flight path of aircraft or ground-based radars.
This document is not only required for buildings in close proximity to airports and is not limited to tall buildings.
The Civil Aviation Authority is the only national authority that issues approvals for technical documentation related to the objectives in areas with civil aeronautical easements or in other areas where they may constitute obstacles for air navigation and/or may affect the safety of the flight on the territory and in the airspace of Romania.
The impact assessment of an objective can only be carried out only by the specialists with expertise in the respective fields, from AACR, respectively ROMATSA, as appropriate, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable aeronautical regulations, based on the technical documentation drawn up by an ANCPI authorized survey engineer.
